Both. Depending upon the group they’re connected to.

can give both but generelly gives electron donating effect as it is dominant over electron withdrawing effect.

Basic Doubt:
Do R and S configuration of a compound correspond to its two enantiomers?
And the optical isomers of a compound are its enantiomers right?

R and S are two configuration , it doesn’t correspond to two enantiomers.
generally when two compound have opposite configuration at each carbon then those two compounds are called enantiomers.

optical isomer of a compound is not necessarily needed to be enantiomer , it can be diasteriomer .

Umm some lecture relating to this. U should go through ur GOC notes. They will help pkka. Saare effect padh dalo. Some lecture I won’t suggest coz inductive, resonance effects pe based hai. But mostly \huge {-I} hi show krte hain alkene alkyne

Mai yaha pe dekh raha hu resonance 3 mai jayada ho rha hai compare to other compounds so ye jayada acidic hoga then for 1,2 I am checking +I and -I effect so according to that 1 > 2

So according to me order should be 3>1>2 but in answer it is given 1> 3 > 2…
Can anyone help me with that…(agar kuch galat soch rha hu toh please usko bhi correct krdena)

Resonance is not present in any three. Sirf inductive effect se dekhna hh.

Bhai Ka strength dekhna hai so H atom remove kiye acid se then waha pe resonance ho rha hai nah…pie and anion mai…

And uske baad check kr rhe hai kaun kitna jayada stability provide krega negative charge ko (By Inductive Effect)

Bhai, resonance ka logic tu iss basis pe laga raha hai ki (iii) ka dono hydrogen ionize ho gaya. Lekin comparative basis pe dekhein, toh tu bas ek hydrogen ionize karwa ke compare kar. Bas -I Effect ka order hi kaam karega.

Humlog jabhi koi bhi electron displacement effect check krte hai toh kya check krte hai quantity or quality?

I mean in question no 20 we all know that No2 show better -I than cl but the thing here 3 Cl is given and only one NO2 is given so we will consider over quantity or quality?

bro for Inductive Effect, we use DNP Rule for checking.
D- Distance from target
N- No of EWG/ERG
P- Power of EWG/ERG
toh sbse pehle check the distance of attached NO_2 from target which is COOH in this case.
