Take an element and write force on it.Now take see that vertical component will add up and horizontal will cancel each other.
Force=pressure×area.Take an element at a distance from top.Integrate the expresseion from 0 to pi/2.Similarly solve for bottom part also.You will get a factor òf 1/6 in force on upper part and a factor of 5/6 on force in lower part.
Try it.If you don’t get the answer do tell me.I will post the written solution by tomorrow.
