# Overkill methods/concepts for fast JEE(A) problem solving (Don't post anything too much beyond pyq level)

Ex :
Field transformation in MEEC
vector analysis in Projectile
Thevenins equivalent in Circuits
Taylor series for SHM

Kindly add in more useful overkill methods… @everyone

Edit:
Kindly also share some material to follow on with the methods/theorms
{Field transformation in MEEC:

Vector analysis in Projectile:

Thevenins equivalent:

Taylor series for shm:
(Take a look in pg book)

Reduced mass = m1m2/m1+m2 and some concepts related to it (like energy,SHM)
Saves calculation many times

are we supposed to remember this… coz this is easily provable

Iska kahi direct application hai Kya? @Lavesh

Are some std results from higher calculus (multivariable calc) useful in difficult single variable calculus questions?.. I’ve heard Chirag Falor telling on quora on how some of the “tricks” helped him…??..(any seniors here may guide)

langrane multipliers could be used in maximising or minimising
